Apart from taking care of the children in the orphanage, Divine Seva Foundation also engages itself in the following activities:
DSF works relentlessly for the upliftment of discarded and abandoned children. Education makes a child self determining. So DSF aims in helping financially poor students for good and proper education by providing school fees, books, uniforms etc.
In addition to financial assistance the trust monitors their progress periodically and give them all needed guidance and encouragement for better performances.
Access to adequate food is the most basic of human needs. So DSF focus towards distributing food to the poor, needy and hungry children across the pockets of poverty. DSF also reaches out to other orphanages and old aged homes by providing funds for their food packages by holding hands with our dedicated donors.
In India millions splurge on good food, we find it unacceptable that even bigger millions of children have to go to bed hungry. We strive for the goal that no child is left hunger.
Technologies are advancing in this fast growing world. Human diseases are being treated with latest technologies, new hospitals and diagnostic centers are coming up to treat the peoples only who can afford.
The poor people cannot get treatments from the hospitals with advanced technologies. There are many poor people around us who cannot even visit a government hospital and afford to buy medicines which cost very less.
Just imagine, your loved one or you is diagnosed with a life threatening illness and the cost of treatment is unaffordable, an uncanny feeling of helplessness will sweep over you. Those who are financially fortunate may never witness such a situation. The poor and deprived that grapple to make ends meet; when struck with fatal diseases have to face the stark reality that costly medical treatment is beyond their reach. There are the benevolent and generous individuals and corporate that step forward to help their less fortunate brethren.
Donations and charity accompanied by compassion is the perpetual source of hope to the down trodden. DSF will work to deliver timely medical treatment for those who cannot afford. Even basic medical care is beyond those who struggle for their basic necessities.
We can make them visit a government hospital or clinic nearby and buy medicines for their treatment. We should stretch our hands wider and liberal. Money should not be a concern for the poor to get relief from their pains and sufferings. So we are doing our best to help the poorest of the poor and make a platform for dedicated donors to join us in this venture.
To collect sample and unwanted medicines from medical representatives, doctors, hospitals staffs and provide it to the needy patients under the guidance of a doctor. Collect funds among the people for purchasing medicines.
Arrange sponsorships and financial aid to poor patients for their medical treatments.
